The School of Art invites the public to attend a showcase of work by students from the BFA in Visual Arts/Animation program, including the Animation Production, Game Art/Design, Illustration, and VFX concentrations. Students will display artworks created as part of their schoolwork, representing a dynamic range concepts and styles. This is a great chance to see the exciting art being made by some of the School of Art’s Animation Majors!
Reception is from 4 – 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1.
All exhibitions will be in The Ned and Gloria Griner Art Gallery, just off the Atrium Food Court in the Arts & Journalism building. Free and open to the public.

Jiyong Lee is a studio artist and educator based in Carbondale, Illinois. He has taught at Southern Illinois University since 2005, where he leads the glass program. Originally from Seoul, Korea, he received his MFA from Rochester Institute of Technology. Lee has taught and exhibited internationally, with work shown in venues including the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, the Tallinn Applied Art Triennial, and the Loewe Foundation Craft Prize. His sculptures are held in collections such as The Corning Museum of Glass, the Barry Art Museum, Samsung, and Chanel.
It’s time for the Glass Alliance’s Annual Egg Sale!
Head to the Minnetrista Museum and Gardens Education Center in Oakhurst Gardens for the Annual Spring Glass Egg Sale, where you can purchase beautifully hand-crafted glass eggs and other themed pieces made by Ball State University students from the Marilyn K. Glick Center for Glass. Each unique piece makes a perfect keepsake or gift.
The Glass Alliance Egg Sale & Hunt is presented in partnership with Minnetrista Museum and Gardens.
Enjoy a celebration of treble-voice music featuring Ball State’s Vox Anima, Indy’s White River Sound, and Anderson University’s Vola Voce!
Program to include music by Elaine Hagenberg, Laura Jeksabone, Melissa Dunphy, Jocelyn Hagen, and “Will the Circle Be Unbroken”.

Parking is available in the McKinley Parking Garage (entrance on Ashland Avenue) located immediately south of Sursa Hall. Metered parking is available on the first floor of the garage until 7 p.m. at which time parking is free.

The Jellicle Cats come out to play on one special night of the year – the night of the Jellicle Ball! One by one, they tell their stories for the amusement of Old Deuteronomy, their wise and benevolent leader, who must choose one of the Cats to ascend to The Heaviside Layer and be reborn into a whole new Jellicle life.
