South Central neighbors enjoyed lunch with friends in the newly furnished neighborhood garden. Residents tested their knowledge of garden trivia for a prize and all were invited to roast their own s’mores!
October 18, 2014 – After Dark at Beech Grove
The Old West End Neighborhood Association teemed up with the folks at Beech Grove Cemetery to host a historical tour of the cemetery’s Section B. Refreshments were available and displays presented both before and after the tour. The fundraiser was very successful, selling out the 125 available tickets the night of the tour. October 17, 2014 – All Things Pumpkin
The East Central neighborhood purchased the historic Emily Kimbrough house and hosted a fundraiser to help raise funds for its rehabilitation and reuse as a community gathering place. The All Things Pumpkin fundraiser included a tour of two of the neighborhood’s most prominent painted ladies all decked out for All Hallow’s Eve, along with a tour of the Emily Kimbrough home.
